Biography
Sufen Wei received the BS degree and the MS degree, in Electrical Engineering, from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in 1998 and 2001, respectively. And received the PhD degree in Electronic Science and Technology, from Xi’an Jiaotong University, China, in March 2019.
She has worked as a senior design engineer and project leader with Freescale Semiconductor (had merged into NXP) Suzhou Design Center since 2001 to 2008, where she involved in DFT, chip-level physical integration, design methodology, and low-power design flow, for Dragon-Ball i.MX Series Chips, and DSP Series Chips. She has been working with Jimei University, Fujian Province, China, since 2009. And now she is an Associate Professor with the institute of Information and Engineering, Jimei University.
She is currently involving in the compact device modeling of the nanometer ultra-thin-body ultra-thin-box (UTBB) fully-depleted (FD) SOI MOSFET as well as double-gate MOSFET, FinFET, and Tunnel-FET. Her research interests also include material processing, DFT fault modeling in nanometer technology, and low-power circuit design methodology.
